The symbol of Yokohama, FERRIS WHEEL COSMO CLOCK21 is the world's largest Giant Ferris Wheel with clock function, with a height of 112.5 meters and a capacity of 480 people.
During the 15-minute aerial walk, visitors can enjoy a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view by day and a beautiful, jewel-like night view at night.

By introducing a lighting and illumination system that uses full-color LED lighting devices with "direct light" and "indirect light," approximately 16.7 million colors can be seamlessly expressed. "Direct light" represents more delicate and complex lighting, while the combination with "indirect light" achieves a more profound effect.

The lighting effects using "direct light" and "indirect light" are controlled by a computer system, allowing not only geometric patterns but also illustrations and text to be displayed. This system is also active in events in Minato Mirai and various social awareness activities.

History of the Giant Ferris Wheel
"COSMO CLOCK 21"
It was created as a pavilion for the 1989 Yokohama Exposition (YES'89). FERRIS WHEEL COSMO CLOCK21
It was decided that the park would continue to exist after the end of YES '89, and an urban multi-level amusement park, YOKOHAMA COSMO WORLD, was opened.
In March 1999, in conjunction with the development of the Minato Mirai 21 district, it opened at its current location as the new " YOKOHAMA COSMO WORLD".
"COSMO CLOCK 21" has also been moved to its current location accordingly.
Over the years, FERRIS WHEEL COSMO CLOCK21 has become an indispensable part of the Yokohama Minato Mirai landscape, widely loved by citizens and visitors for leisure and sightseeing.
